James M. Taylor, age 84, passed away peacefully into the presence of the LORD JESUS CHRIST on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Jim was a Veteran, and he served in the Texas Army National Guard during the 1950's. Jim’s career was in the oil and gas industry as a Landman for Champlin Petroleum Company. Jim was an avid reader of the Holy Bible. He enjoyed photography, painting landscapes and Italian villas, he wrote many Christian poems over the years and he loved eating until his last day on earth. Jim married Frances Taylor on January 9, 1965, and they celebrated 53 ½ years together. Jim is survived by his wife Frances; daughter Debra Taylor and husband Dennis Eygabroad; son Darryl J. Taylor and wife Katie; and daughter Dorothy Rheaume. Other family members include seven grandchildren: Eric, Jarrod, and Melissa and husband Evan Smith, Laurisa, Kathryn, Joshua, and Cody.
