Jay "Dan" Daniel Steffey

Dan was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his wife Marsha and their children Ryan, Garry, Brandi, Jennifer and Jacob and always supported them.

Dan was also passionate about his race cars and could often be found at the race track when he wasn’t home. He loved to spend time with his family, camping, driving his sandcar, boating, Rzr riding, and always ready to explore a new adventure in the motorhome.

Anyone who knew Dan knew that he was the most loving father, husband and friend a family could ask for. He is survived by his wife Marsha, mother Margi Chapman, his 5 children Ryan Melton, Garry Melton, Brandi Lolmough, Jennifer Gray and Jacob Steffey, his 5 grandchildren Shanda Melton, Logan Melton, Emma Gray, Maci Gray and Mickey Melton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9th, 2021. Viewing will be from 10 am to 11 am, followed by a lawn service at 11:30 am at the Sunland Memorial Park & Mortuary located at 15826 N Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351. Following the service there will be a celebration of Dan’s life at the Steffey’s home open to everyone, 10433 W Mariposa Grande Ave, Peoria, AZ 85383.
