Jean Carolyn Panek of Sun City, Arizona, passed away September 1, 2015. Jean lived in Sun City for over 40 years. She was active in her community and belonged to many clubs.Jean was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church of Sun City for many years. She was also a member of Sun City RN Club there. Jean volunteered for the Visitor Center, and Hospice of the Valley. On May 26, 2015, family and friends gathered at The Garden of Sun City, to celebrate Jean's 100th birthday.Jean is survived by her daughter, Suzy Ziegler of California, her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Shirley Panek of Corte Belle. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.At Jean's request, there will be no public service. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Hospice of the Valley for their wonderful concern and care of our loved one at the end of her life.
