Karen balanced an incredibly demanding career as a rate clerk in the male-dominated trucking industry with her home life. Even after a 12-hour workday, she would return home to prepare a meal that a professional chef would be proud of. Karen loved to cook and feed people; dinner gatherings at her home became fondly known as
"Karen's House-O-Plenty."
In addition to her passion for cooking, Karen loved country music and was known to crank up the volume whenever a favorite song came on the radio. She had a bubbly personality, and her smile and laugh were truly infectious.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
