

Larry M Boxman was a devoted, faithful, fun, hard working, loving Husband, Father, Brother, Son and Uncle and he passed away peacefully to be with God on Sunday, August 11th, 2024. Larry fought and beat Hodgkin's Lymphoma and went into remission at the end of March 2024. His Oncologist, Dr Jori Lee Kaplan was an amazing Doctor and we are grateful.
Larry was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on July 11th, 1939. After graduating from West Philadelphia High School in June of 1957, Larry went to Radio Electronics Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a Degree in Radio-Television-Electronics Technician on August 24th, 1961. Larry then enlisted in the United States Army and was Honorably discharged on January 12th, 1963.
Larry was married to Judith Barbara Boxman Berman in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 17th, 1963. Larry was a very loving, devoted, caring, compassionate, faithful, hard working Husband and Father. Larry had a successful, fulfilling and long Engineering Career at General Electric and he graciously retired from GE located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and moved the Family to Phoenix, Arizona in August of 1980 to work for Motorola as an Electrical Engineer on Government Contracts for the rest of his career. Larry loved traveling all around the World with his Wife. He enjoyed a healthy life and in his retirement he played a lot of Golf and worked out regularly. He loved Chevrolet Sports Cars, Football and Baseball, Fishing, Music, Cowboy Hats and Boots. He loved his Firearms and in his younger years he loaded his own ammunition at home as a hobby. He enjoyed playing Poker with his friends and being with his Family. Larry loved everything about Arizona, John Wayne and Taffy the Doberman Pinscher, the Family's Dog.
Larry was Widowed on November 5th, 2015, when his Bride, Judy, of Peoria, Arizona succumbed to Ovarian Cancer Stage 4. He was the loving Son of Louis and Doris Boxman of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania both of whom predeceased him as well as his Sister Geraldine Golden and Brother In Law, Donald Golden. Larry is survived by his Sister and Brother-in-Law, Roni and Dr. Mark Rabin, his Nieces and Nephews, his three children Gary Scott Boxman of Phoenix, Arizona, David Keith Boxman of Phoenix, Arizona, Lynn Sheryl Boxman Noyes and Joseph Lynn Noyes of El Mirage, Arizona, grandson Joseph Lynn Noyes II of Phoenix, Arizona, and great-grandchildren Joseph Lynn Noyes III and Abigail Noyes of Anderson, California.
Larry's family would like to thank all of the staff at Faith Hospice, Nurse Joan, Nurse Jodi, Nurse Erin, Medical Assistant Bryan and Social Worker Shelly for their dedication to excellence in assisting Larry during his In Home Hospice. Larry's last wishes were to be at home with Family and his wishes were graciously granted by Larry's Daughter Lynn who was his main caregiver, Joseph his Son-In-Law and Larry's Son Gary.
A Memorial Service celebrating Larry's life will be held at Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary located at 15826 N Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, Arizona 85351 on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and Brunch at 11:00 AM with Military recognition, folding of the American Flag and Taps at the end of the Service.
