Larry Kotrys, 81, of Sun City, AZ passed away on December 27, 2023. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, where he lived with his mother Victoria, father Edward, and sister Vikki. Larry moved to Anchorage, Alaska, at age 17 where he met his wife Tanya. Larry and Tanya were married in 1963 and had many adventures in their 60+ years together.
Larry served in the US Navy Seabees during the Vietnam War, where he began his 40-year long career in construction building bridges. He loved building things, being outdoors, fishing, and drinking good coffee.
He is survived by his wife Tanya, son Craig (Melissa), daughter Pam (Matt), and grandchildren Seth, Calvin, Lila, and Elaine.
