She was born on June 14, 1940, to Charles William Jones and Leona Elva Jones in Seattle Washington.
Linda graduated from Lincoln High School in Seattle Washington in 1958. She worked several different jobs including at the Ketchikan Alaska Bureau when she retired, then moved to Sun City.
She enjoyed spending time with friends and family; she was known for being the life of the party and described as having spunk, leaving an impact on those close to her. She belonged to the Red Hat Society, loved taking her RV on the road, spending time in Mexico, and summers in Wyoming with family. She liked to read, quilt, paint, bird watch and spend time with her dogs. She could never pass up a good steak and seafood. Even after her spinal cord injury in 2024 she was a force when it came to recovery. She was strong-willed, determined, independent, and a courageous person who loved life.
Linda is survived by her daughter Michelle Williams (Bonnie and Larry), stepdaughter Laurie Peck Johnson (Daniel), son Michael Peck, numerous grandchildren and her brother Richard Jones (Roberta and nieces Shannon and Carla).
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Leona, many relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at Sunland Memorial Park at 11am on Friday May 22, 2026.
