
on the evening of October 26, 2010. She was born on August 7, 1921 in Grand Rapids, MI to Fred and Lillian Reichardt. Marcella graduated from Libby High School, Toledo, OH in 1940. She is survived by her seven children, Denese (John) Malacos, Findlay, OH, Jack (Betty) Bortel, Orange Park, FL, JoAnna Graffice (Guy Saggione), Chandler, AZ, Jerry (Karen) Bortel, Paulding, OH, Patricia (Howard) Fleischmann, Phoenix, AZ, June (Ed) Felix, Mesa, AZ, Kristi Gordon, Mesa, AZ, stepsons, Dr. James (Ellen) Perkins, Farmington Hills, MI, Richard Jaeger, Manchester, PA, 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grand Children. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Perkins, former husbands’ Vance Bortel, Lawrence Jaeger, brothers’ Harry and Earl Reichardt and sister Mildred Mayer. She moved her family to Glendale, AZ in 1968 and retired from Continental Security Guards in 1979. Her funny wit, her smile and her infectious laugh
brought joy to friends and family. She had a zest for Life & loved the delivery of a great joke… She loved her family and set traditional family values. She did her best to instill the meaning & importance of long-time friendships to her children. Her kindness affected many & her caring manner touched all hearts that had the privilege to have met her…. She was an avid billiards shark & enjoyed a great game of pinochle. Her later years were enjoyed by the love of a good book and the love of her little companion, Mimi. She went in peace and laughed on Glory’s Side!
