Our beloved Mary was born on May 11, 1917 in Buffalo, New York to John and Mary Elizabeth Ziegler. She was followed by sister, Margaret Elizabeth, in 1920. The Ziegler family moved to Denver, Colorado that same year to overcome health problems for John. John passed away a few years later, leaving Mary Elizabeth to raise Mary and Marge on her own.
Mary called Denver home for the next 66 years, marrying Ray Good and raising son, Niel. Ray served as a pilot in the Air Force, being shot down and held as a POW in World War II. He continued serving as a fighter pilot after the war and left the Air Force to continue a career with the U.S. Geodetic Service until retirement. In addition to being a wife and mother, Mary began a career with the Jefferson County Bank in Denver, retiring as the Executive Secretary to the President.
For their retirement lifestyle, Mary and Ray moved to Sun City and Westbrook Village in 1986. Ray passed away in 1992 and Mary met the charming Nick Fedoruk. Mary and Nick were married on June 6, 1995 and spent 16 wonderful years together traveling the world and socializing with family and friends.
Mary was a vivacious, loving person who leaves behind her loving husband, Nick; her brother-in-law, Dan Fedoruk; grandson Eric Good; nieces Carole Koehne of Seattle, Jill Anderson of Albuquerque, Faith Ann Bugaher; and nephew Christopher Fedoruk. She will truly be missed.
