Michael Gomes Reed

Michael spent most of his life on the family farm in Greenfield, Ca., where he was born and raised. He relocated to Arizona in his 60’s but always considered Greenfield his home. Michael will be greatly missed but not forgotten. He always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. Michael was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. He loved flying airplanes, sailing, and rodeo. Rodeo and horses were a mainstay throughout his life. He was passionate about team roping, a sport he shared with his youngest son, Parker.

Michael was a farmer, charter pilot, crop duster, and truck driver. Michael had a big laugh and a huge heart. He loved Jesus and valued faith. His presence will be remembered and missed while his impact on those close to him will be carried on.

Michael is lovingly remembered by his wife, Vicki Reed. He is survived by his brother, Phillip Reed of Buellton, Ca. Children; Kenny, Kevin, Jimmy, and Parker Reed, Dustin and Travis Arispe. 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
