

She was born on June 21, 1926, in Tripoli, Iowa, the daughter of John and Leona (Schmidt) Berlin. After graduating from high school at the age of 16, she left home to attend Gates Business College in Waterloo, Iowa. In 1947, at a ballroom, she met her future husband Robert (Bob) Jensen. Bob referred to her as the prettiest girl at the dance. They were married on February 29, 1948. Bob and Naomi had 4 children, Carol Sagun, Dr. David (Terrie) Jensen, Sherry (Marvin) Moore, Keith Jensen, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Naomi is survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Moeller of Tripoli, Iowa, nieces and nephews, close friend Jan Ferguson and other friends and family.
She is proceeded in death by her parents John and Leona, husband Bob, two sisters, Ruth Bergmann and Sarah Lindaman and one grandchild, Michael Jensen.
Bob and Naomi owned and operated a dry cleaning business in Grinnell, Iowa for 25 years. They sold the cleaners and moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas and she worked in the corporate office for Walmart before retiring. They also lived in Spring Hill, Florida before relocating to Sun City, Arizona. In Sun City, they were active members of the RV Club spending many summers traveling across America. Naomi served as a Deacon in The Congregational Church of Sun City. She was still bowling through the spring of 2025. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. She was an avid fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Phoenix Suns.
An 11AM memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at The Congregational Church of Sun City located at 18401 N 99th Ave., Sun City, AZ 85373.
