Growing up in California, her father owned a restaurant "Durant;s" and soon moved the family and the business to Phoenix, Arizona. Randa stayed in contact with a few childhood friends and her fondest memories were her years at South Mountain High School. There she found her passion in sports and she especially excelled in Tennis where she Lettered on Varsity. She met and married her first husband Bill Cleckner, both South Mountain graduates with awards and accommodation and at that time a power couple. Together they had three children, Linda, Jason, and Jared. The family stayed active and very involved. Randa made things happen, she was a free spirit and always up for fun and most of the time the driving force to ensure fun and memorable experiences happened. Favorite moment was on the green at TPC FBR and during the "quiet" moment of a putt from actor, Bill Murray, Randa yelled "Send your Mother", Bill turned smiled and made the putt and the crowd went wild. To this day that connection will always be her secret but a forever quote with the family.
