

Scott Edward Hultberg, 82, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2012 in Sun City, AZ. He was born in Chicago, IL, Cook County to John Edward and Signa Augusta (Carlson) Hultberg. Scott graduated from Proviso High School and later joined the United States Naval Reserve in June of 1947. Scott’s childhood passion was to be an industrial engineer and started his career in Tool and Die for the Western Electric Company in 1948. While working, he furthered his education by attending night school at Omaha University, which is now the University of Nebraska at Omaha. After 39 years of dedication to Western Electric, he retired and moved to Peoria, AZ. Scott was very active in the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Westbrook Village Golf Club. In his spare time, he found great joy in bowling, golfing, woodworking, and taking his family on fishing trips.
His beloved wife and best friend for 59 years, Virginia Mae (Suda) Hultberg, brother, Cortland Roy Hultberg, and his parents preceded Scott in death. His legacy will continue through his wonderful daughters, Nancy and husband, Ron Wegrzyn, and Pam Hultberg; cherished grandchildren, Jill Wegrzyn and husband, Thomas Drudge, Ryan Wegrzyn, Megan and Molly England.
Scott was a true Chicago Bears and Cubs fan even to the end as he started his journey home to Heaven.
