It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas “Tom” Olaf Johnson originally from the majestic mountains of Alaska and MT. He lived a life filled with love, laughter and cherished moments that will forever remain in our hearts. He was a remarkable man and will be missed by all that knew him.
Born on August 9, 1945 in Great Falls, MT. Tom was a devoted husband to his wife Patti and a loving father to his 3 sons Thomas Jr., Israel and Gabriel, and grandsons Tristan and Jacob. He treasured his role as a provider, protector and mentor to his family. His unwavering love, guidance and support were the foundations that shaped their lives, leaving an enduring legacy of compassion, strength and unity.
Tom had an unwavering zest for life and pursued his passions with unmatched enthusiasm. Without a doubt, if Tom was on the ski hill, there was no other present that day that could eclipse the artful way he carved up a mountain. Watching him soar down a hill, with as much grace as eagle, as if he were flying himself, was truly poetry in motion and something one will never forget. Whether he was on the slopes or simply spending time with friends and family, he approached every moment with a lightning-fast wit and infectious laughter to follow. His kind spirit and genuine love for life were contagious, bringing joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we reflect on the life of Tom Johnson, our hearts overflow with treasured memories. From his crooked grin to his one in a trillion laugh he had a remarkable ability to light up any room. We will always remember the joyous family gatherings, the heartfelt conversations and the shared moments of love and laughter that enriched all of our lives.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held at his home in Sun City, AZ for his family and another one at Holland Lake in Montana this coming summer. Together, let us honor Toms memory by sharing stories, reminiscing about the good old days and watching one last sunset as we say so long to a Great, Great, man.
