She was born on June 16, 1928 in Princeton, MO. She leaves behind a family who will
dearly miss her including Marilyn Wages (Glen) of Glendale, AZ; Paul Michael (Cathy) of
McKinney, TX; Maxine Vogen (Jon) of Glendale, AZ; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-
grandchildren. Virgie was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Max
Michael.
Virgie worked for Farmer’s Insurance Group for 35 years at the regional offices
located in Aurora, IL and Phoenix, AZ.
Virgie was a long-time member of Palmcroft Baptist Church in Phoenix. She loved the
Lord and would want to be remembered for that great love.
Visitation services will be Friday evening (5-8 pm) at Sunland Memorial Mortuary in Sun
City. Funeral services are Saturday (10 am) at Palmcroft Baptist Church, Phoenix.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
