William L. Baker, age 79, of Sun City, AZ passed away on December 10, 2014. Born in Chicago, Illinois to Lawrence and Martha Baker, Bill was a U.S. Army Veteran and a graduate of Deforest University. He had a long term career working with computers for Motorola, First National Bank of Chicago, ASI and IBM. Bill is survived by his loving wife Judith Baker of Sun City; his children Cheri Williams (Doug) of Villa Park, Ken Jordan of Rolling Meadows, and Stephanie Jordan (Pete) of Corpus Christi, TX; his grandchildren Kevin, Justin and Nicholas Williams of Villa Park, and Keane Lutz of Corpus Christi; and his sister Bonnie (Don) Fitting also of Sun City. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Martha. He enjoyed his travels with his wife throughout the country and internationally. There was nothing mechanical Bill couldn’t figure out or fix. Friends and family turned to him when something broke down. His only request of payment was deviled eggs, a good bowl of soup or homemade cookies. He loved a challenge. We will miss his sense of humor and sharp wit.
