Arthur Dale Darby

Arthur “Dale” Darby passed away at his home in Sun City, AZ on May 10, 2013, at the age of 81. Dale is survived by Jodie, his loving wife of 52 years, his daughter Donna Graff, her husband Steve and their son Noah of Surprise AZ. Dale was born in Greenville, TX in 1931. He graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce. Upon graduating, he served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Force. He worked in Sales Management in New Orleans, La. and was transferred to Fullerton, Ca. in 1976 where he lived until he retired in 1995. Dale and Jodie moved back to Louisiana upon retirement where they lived until 2005 when they moved to Sun City. He was active in the Sun City Christian Church serving as Chairman of the Board for the years 2010-2012. He had a passion for serving his Church family, golf, investing and spending time with his family. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him. Services will be held Wednesday, May 15th, at the Sun City Christian Church, 9745 W. Palmeras Dr., Sun City, AZ 85373 at 1:00 pm. He was a man of faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love and the beauty and peace that would await him after passing..
