

Clinton attended the Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from Collinwood High School. Prior to graduation he joined the National Guard of Ohio. In 1963, after high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a paratrooper.
While serving in the U.S. Army, Clinton met and married his first wife. To that union were 3 children, all born while he was on active duty. After completion of active duty the family returned to Cleveland.
Later, Clinton and Delores Tucker were married on January 15, 1987.
Clinton worked for the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company until his retirement, then for Cleveland Public Power until his move to Arizona.
He was a 32nd degree Prince Hall Mason. He was also a member of the Mystic Knights Motorcycle Club. After moving to Surprise, Arizona, he joined the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club. Motorcycles were his love and he rode until his health prevented him from riding.
He moved to Arizona in 2002 after he retired from work, joining the Desert Mashie Golf Club, the OG’s (part of the Desert Mashies) and his beloved Adobe 5PM Swimmers with his friend Jimmy Shelton.
Clinton is preceded in death by his parents Clinton Sr. and Azzalee, and his sister Eunice Cooper. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Delores, son Clinton the 4th (Sheila), daughters Adrian and Victoria Riase-Richmond. Stepchildren Jeffery Tucker and Leigh Tucker. Grandchildren Quinton, Clinton, Evan, Geordan, Kevin, Jamel, Jeffrey Jr., Justin, Carlton, Martel, Leandria, Carissa, Camilla. Brothers Dwight, Lemuel (Gwendolyn) and Asolee Riase. There is a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins plus friends that mourn his passing.
