

Darlene (Johnson) Booth, age 67, peacefully returned to her heavenly home with the Lord on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, in Surprise, Arizona. Born on February 2, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the fourth child of the late Lee L. and Florida Johnson.
From a young age, Darlene embraced Christ as her personal Savior and became a devoted member of The Refreshing Place church in 1989, where she lovingly served as First Lady.
Darlene was cherished for her joyful spirit, warm heart, and delightful sense of humor. She treasured moments with her family, enjoyed watching *Family Feud*, and took pleasure in discovering great bargains.
Her career as a Nursing Assistant spanned over 40 years, during which she dedicated herself to caring for others. She received numerous accolades for her compassion and commitment, especially recognized during her tenure at Toledo Hospital, where she retired in 2021.
Darlene was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lee L. Johnson and Florida L. Johnson; her sisters, Delois Cooglar and Renee Boyd; and her son, Dajon Booth.
Remembering her fondly are her husband of 37 years, Pastor Davis Booth; her children, Darrell (Yolonda) Johnson, Tyson (Deatra) Johnson, and Timothy Booth.
She is lovingly survived by her sisters, Malinda Johnson, Yvonne Johnson, Tena (Alonzo) Morales, Latanzia (William) Clark, and her brother Lee L. Johnson Jr. Together with her 53 grandchildren and a multitude of great and great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends, her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
