LeAnn I seem to be thinking of you and Dennis,s  family a lot lately. As a child when I first met him he had such an imaginary mind. Then in high school it was a rough time for him with it being the times that it was. I was so happy when you two met and married. You were the best thing for him. I know you’ll never forget him. I know that I won’t.  Best to you, his children and grandchildren. Always in my mind.

I remember Dennis as the little neighbor kid & friend that was adventurist, an inquisitive sponge and liked to hang out with us older neighborhood kids.  He was always there, so we accepted him as if he was a younger brother and took him under our wing.  Quite often to entertain ourselves, we would play tricks on one another. Since he was the youngest one in the group we encouraged him to go first.  He never liked to go first but did at times.  He learned quickly!  We had fun, laughed a lot and had good times together. I remember him always coming over to our home to see what our family (my father, mother, brother, dog and myself) were doing.  He liked the family life.  He had a good heart and a good sense of direction.  I’m glad that he sent forth the good examples as a husband, father, grandfather & friend that he learned in life.  I’m sadden and heartfelt to learn that he can’t continue on to mentor those in need.  He will always be remembered and missed by those of the neighborhood, my family and especially myself.

We will always remember Dennis as a fine father, grandfather and friend. He generously shared his  love and support with those he knew. His joyful smile will remain in our hearts!

So sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers are with you all now at this time in your life. I’ve known Dennis since we were kids when our mothers were friends  then reunited again in high school. He married Leann and basically became family since my brother was married to Leann’s sister and my mother had become friends with Leann’s parents. I feel fortunate enough to be able to talk with Dennis over the internet since he moved to Arizona   You are back in gods hands now may you always be your family’s angel   

Dennis and I got reacquainted on Facebook over the last few years.  We  mainly enjoyed each other's photos of family, grandchildren in particular.  Occasionally we disagreed on politics, but it was always respectful.  We have more in common than we disagree with, mainly our faith in Jesus Christ.  I have been hoping for a chance to meet with Dennis face to face and have a good conversation.  That will have to wait a while now.  Grace and peace to all of Dennis's family and friends.

Your family is in my prayers. Growing up with you as neighbors, and babysitting for you. Our circle on the end of our street hosted many kids ballgames, and in the winter sledding down Ohio Street. I still remember the orneriness of Dennis! In spite of all the young boy silliness, Dennis had such a good heart!

I haven't seen you for awhile but I know you were a man of God.  We were raised together and you will be missed. 

Love you brother. You were so full of life.  Everything you did made a crater in the world, not a dent a crater. You were and always will be a person of faith that I will look up to. Your passion for your beliefs and morals are unsurpassed. The love you had for Leann, your children and grandchildren is beyond measure. Give Christ a hug for me. Well done good and faithful one!!!! To say I am going to miss you is an understatement. Until we meet again. XO
