I remember daddy Ely that he allowed me to call him that. When he would come to Bible and he would hear the music it would stir something up inside him and he stand, shake his hands and smile real big. We got to Celebrate his 87th birthday with him and he started feeling the music and he got out his wheelchair and started his little dance and that great big smile would appear. One time Joseph got him a watch he said like that he was wearing. Joseph put it on his wrist and he grinned big and pointed at it as Joseph explained it was for him and he couldn't believe it and was going to give it back, until daughter and Joseph convinced him it was his and again the big grin appeared. What a blessing for us to have Ely be apart of our family. Enjoy being in the presences of God healed and continue your life eternally.

My heartfelt sympathy to Rosie and family for the loss of their beloved patriach, Ely. The love and respect of both for each other is a model of inspiration for many of their friends in the community including myself. When with Rosie, you were also with Ely as they shared the same heart and thoughts. I was happy for the chance of time and friendship with this beautiful and delightful person. RIP, Ely and may you enjoy everlasting fellowship with God in heaven 🌺
