Julie's life was filled with love and adventure. She was born February 25th, 1931 in Bicknell, Utah and was the oldest child of Vaughn and Lila Taylor. Julie had a love for horses growing up in Loa, Utah and loved being outside with her friends. She married James Edward Deleeuw on February 25th, 1948 and eventually moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Julie visited Phoenix and fell in love with the spirit of Arizona. Shortly afterwards, Julie moved to Phoenix with her two daughters. There she would spend over 40 years working at the famous Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse and she loved every minute of it. After being single for several years she married Dick Mallory. It was common for Julie to be working three jobs, but she always found time to be with her family. Years after working she still stayed in contact with her friends from work.
Julie was filled with love, kindness and compassion for everyone. She had a passion for helping and serving others. Julie always made sure everyone had a place to go for the holidays, and was eager to lend a helping hand to someone in need. A common phrase frequently used to describe Julie was "She was one amazing woman". Julie was respected and admired by everyone that came in contact with her.
Julie enjoyed making floral arrangements, cake decorating with her mom, and spending time with friends and family. Her children, grand-kids, great-grand-kids, and great-great-grand-kids were the love of her life. They could put a smile on her face from ear to ear by simply coming into the room.
