BAKER, Jr., George Palmer, 83, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away on October 14, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Palmer Baker, Sr., and Irene Clancy Baker, his son Mark Baker, his sister, Violet Baker Bennett, his brother, Philip Baker and his first wife Vancine Baker. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine Joyce Sweetman Baker; his children, daughter Gina Walker of Dubuque, Iowa, Terisa Baker of Peoria, Arizona, son, Sean Coffey (Chip Coffey) of Phoenix, Arizona, daughter, Kathleen (Fernando) Clemente of Surprise, Arizona, John Drohan (Lori) of Milford, Connecticut, Colleen (Louis) Navedo of Yorktown, New York, and Brian (Donna) Drohan of Peoria, Arizona; grandchildren, Megan Murray, Kate Jordison, Tricia Grote, Megan Schmitt, Jason Clemente, Andrew Clemente, Ryan Drohan, Enya Joyner, Seana Baker, Matthew Drohan, Caitlin Drohan, and Emily Wunderlich; great-grandchildren, Remy Wunderlevy, and Nathan Howell; and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements under the direction of Surprise Funeral Care, Surprise, Arizona. The Funeral Service will be held at Surprise Funeral Care, in the Chapel, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 9:00 AM. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Surprise, Arizona, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with interment at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary at 1:00 PM.
