Grekeisha Ann Adams

ADAMS, Grekeisha Ann, "Keisha" 41, departed this life on October 31, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona, at Honor Health Hospital. She was born Grekeisha Ann Schaefer on May 16, 1979 to Gregory and Selenah Brown. A devoted wife, and proud mother, Keisha loved to cook, dance, do crafts, and participate in her children's community and school activities, and spend quality family time on weekends.

Keisha was preceded in death by her grandmother, Shirley Ann Turner.

Keisha was married on April 18, 2010 to Bernard Jamahl Adams whom she shared 10 years of marriage.

Keisha leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Bernard; two children, Jalen Douglas Schaefer and Jada Simone Adams of Phoenix, Arizona; nieces and nephews whom she is known to as “Auntie” - Julian Schaefer, Kayla Schaefer, Cameron Schaefer, Tai Engram, Bijan Adams, Anthony Davis, and Quinten Brown; and one great-niece, Lani Young of Louisville, Kentucky; and grandmother, Cassie Schaefer.

She also leaves to cherish her memory loving parents, Gregory and Selenah Brown; siblings, Douglas (Tamika) Schaefer of Phoenix, Arizona, and Anthony Brown of Louisville, Kentucky; grandfather, Cecil W. Turner; loving in-laws, Lorraine Handy, and Alfred and JoAnne Adams; and a host of cousins, family and friends.

Keisha had several special friends, “You know who your are”, she loved you dearly.

A Gathering and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W. Bell Road, in Surprise, Arizona.
