

Isaac David Resler (“Big Ike”) 42, of Surprise, Arizona returned to his heavenly home on June 18th, 2021 of natural causes. There will be a viewing held on Friday June 25th, 2021, from 4-6 pm at Dignity Surprise Funeral located at 16063 W Bell Rd Surprise, AZ 85374 (Additional parking in gravel lot south of building). The Memorial services will be Saturday June 26th, 2021 from 11am - 12pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 15880 W Cactus Rd Surprise, AZ 85379.
Ike was born on May 16th, 1979, to Olga Keirsey (Martinez) and David Resler in Sandusky, Ohio. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1997, attended The University of Toledo (Ohio), and went on to receive his master’s degree from the University of Phoenix.
Ike worked at Glendale Community College for 4 years. He enjoyed music of any kind and spending time with his children and knowing their individual needs.
He met his eternal companion Mary Cuthbertson, on Match.com and they were married on January 21st, 2011. They were married for 10 wonderful years and brought three beautiful children into the world. He was a convert of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He also leaves behind many beloved cousins and aunts and uncles and extended family and friends throughout the country.
He has enjoyed fishing since the age 3, it could be said “he was born with a fishing pole in his hand.” He had the voice of angel, was gifted musically and had a knack for including everyone, creating an environment of comfort, joy and laughter, and his incredibly big heart and presence were appreciated and loved by those near to him.
To know him was to have a loyal, eternal friend, he made friends every where he went, created laughter nearly immediately, and knew no enemies.
He is survived by his parents Olga Keirsey (Martinez), David Lowell Resler, his wife Mary Anne, his three beautiful children Noah Isaac David, 9, Madelyn Anamarie, 7, and Jacob Benjamin Charles, 2, four siblings, Toni Marie Resler 45, Anita Mendoza 29, Seth Daniel Resler 22, and Christina Melody Resler 17.
