James Randol Salters

James Randol Salters, born August 2, 1959, in Santa Cruz, California, returned to his heavenly home on June 8, 2025. A devoted and faithful man, James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose unwavering faith and kindness touched countless lives.

He was the beloved husband and life partner of Cindy Salters for 46 years and a strong, caring father to Amber (Mike) Wright, James (Alicia) Salters, and Randol (Jaclyn) Salters. His eight grandchildren—each creative, caring, and kind—brought him great joy and were the light of his life.

James was the cherished son of Archie Salters and Aletha O. Salters, and dear brother to Adreena Swain and Tina (Gary) Cramp, and a friend whose faith and compassion touched countless lives.

James had a deep love for singing and all things music, but even that passion was outshined by his unshakable devotion to God. He never missed a moment to share his testimony of forgiveness, faith, and the boundless love of his Heavenly Father. "All is well with my soul” was the guiding theme of his life.

A celebration of James's life—a life well and faithfully lived—will be held in a place he held dear: Santa Cruz, California, on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Harbor Light Church, 2008 17th Ave.

His legacy of faith, love, and music will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
