
Jane was a courageous warrior with her battle of cancer. She was kind, warm, & loving.  I adored her laugh.  Even though I was in California, our e-mails & phone calls felt as though we were talking in person. She will always be in my heart.

Chuck & Matt, I am so glad that Darren and I were in AZ and were able to be there for Jane's funeral.  She was such an inspiration for me.  Her phone calls and emails to give me strength when she was going through her own battles.  She always had time for me.  I will miss her not only as a neighbor but as a dear friend. If was a privilege getting to know Chuck & Jane some years ago at their annual Pig Roasts. Jane is a wonderful person with such grace and charm. She left an indelible impression on me. It will be my pleasure to get to know more of her wonderful spirit in heaven when we meet again.

My last conversations she was worried about her family after she was gone, she ended it so like Jane"they know I love them and will always be part of them!"so selfiless even in her time of need. It was my privelege and honor to work along side someone of the caliber that Jane was. She was the quintessentential professional and one classy person. While our time together was brief, she never forgot you and when I passed her in the hallway her last trip to Webb, she remembered me immediately and smiled her wonderful smile. My Aunt Jane was one of a kind.  She lived her life with a tremendous amount compassion and love for others and she will be missed dearly by the all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Jane was an inspiration to all of us who knew her in the melanoma support group.  She lived life to the fullest every day.I found her to be realistic and yet very upbeat.

Dear Chuck and family,  Jane and I met in our Tucson group, HOPE for Advanced Melanoma.  She was there for our first meeting and for almost all of them after that.  If there was one thing Jane had it was hope.  I will miss her so much.  Whatever melanoma threw her way she tossed back and then some.  I will always remember when she could no longer play golf, she didn't give the game up.  She went out with her friends in the cart and watched and participated in a different way.  Jane was a great listener and strong supporter of me and others in our group.  I am so sad that she didn't live long enough to dance at Matthew's wedding; I know she was really looking forward to that.  She loved her family and supported her friends.  May her memory be always for blessing.

Prayers for her family.  Although i didnt know Jane personally,  I have heard of the work she was doing to raise awareness.   God bless you all!

I have a need to know I made a difference. You made a direct impact on me and the type of person and professional I want to be. You are the type of person people want to be around and emulate. If I can be just a little bit like you, I know I can make a difference and I will accomplish something very important to me.  You are an amazing person! I could spend hours shooting the breeze, telling stories and listening to your stories. I love you.  You will be missed.  I will look for you to continue to guide me.  Watch out for me to make me a better person. Be my guardian angel, please!

Ms. Jane has had such a powerful impact regardless of where she resided, worked, or played. My most excellent Nurse Mentor will be greatly missed but I know that her words of wisdom and guidance will stay with me forever! Your generosity of your time and of yourself will always be felt here on earth as you have inspired me, over the years, to 'pay it forward' and I strive to instill in myself and my students the love of people and nursing that you role modeled to me! I love you and you are already missed!

Those of us who had the opportunity to know and work with Jane are blessed for having known her.  Jane left a great legacy to nursing and healthcare, through that work she touched many lives.  Her passion, energy and commitment was to people she served was admirable.

This world would be a far better place if more people had known my amazing cousin Jane.

Sweet Jane and I met through our melanoma support group. Her kindness and love have blessed and encouraged me in my own cancer journey beyond what I can describe. Love and prayers to her family and friends.
