We were so sorry to hear of Murray's passing.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you Lois and Family.  Murray always had a smile and a funny joke to tell.  We have fond memories of Murray coming down the street on his walk, stopping to have a seat in our garage.  He would tell stories, lots of laughs and "kidding" with Phillip. It still makes me laugh everytime I think of my sister Lori - who used to greet Murray with a Hiya Cactus! When she was little and he came to visit she would ask to touch his brush cut, which rightly so reminded her of the feel of an Arizona cactus. It was an endearment that stuck. Dear Lois and Family,
My deepest condolences to you on the passing of Murray.  I remember him well as the nice young man who agreed to chauffeur me and my Dad to my wedding 52 years ago.  We have not met since so I shall always remember both of you as young and beautiful.

May your good memories sustain you through this loss.

When I think of Uncle Murray, I remember a man with a great sense of humour--always ready with a smile and a joke. Although we lived in Canada, Uncle Murray and Aunt Lois were a big part of my childhood. I loved Murray because he treated me like one of the adults and always had something interesting to say. 
During a visit to their home in Phoenix in 1977, I clearly remember Murray tirelessly driving everyone from place to place, while describing all the things he loved about Arizona. Thanks to him, I have great memories of time spent with my cousins, Clarece and Kerry. I know he will always be in our hearts.

I guess I never thought about a world without Murray in it. He has always been there, as far back as my memory will take me.
Murray was my brother-in-law, and he has been in my life since I was four years old. "What's in the field Jo-Anne? Is it a cow or a pig or a sheep or a horse"
He was there when I was 5 when he married my sister; He was there when I became an aunt - when their first child was born and I was six years old;He was there when I needed help with a school project in Grade 7 helping me understand the combustion engine!; He was there when I travelled to Phoenix on my first plane trip - meeting me at the airport and sharing his love of Arizona with me; he was there when my appendix were removed; he was there when I applied for my American Visa; he was there driving my sister, all my nieces and nephew home for my wedding in 1965 - even brought the dog Suzie!; he was there whenever I visited Arizona - tirelessly showing us around, transporting us here there and everywhere; he was always there for my sister Lois and his family. I only hope he's going to be there to greet me when I get to heaven. Thanks Murray - you've been a wonderful brother...and you will be missed.

Lois, the memories of Murray will always be there, keep speaking of the good times shared with him with your children and grandkids. Pray to God to help you each day...Psalms 65:2..and he will give you the comfort needed.
