Neil Thomas Clewell

Neil T. Clewell, age 83, passed away on July 16, 2022. Born February 20, 1939 in Bethlehem, PA to Earle and Dorothy Clewell. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Janet. He is survived by his son Mark of Surprise, AZ and brother Earle of Ocala, FL.

Neil graduated from Liberty High School in Bethlehem in 1957. He obtained a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Accounting from Moravian College in 1967.

Neil was a Purchasing Manager in the food industry for 38 years. He was active in the Purchasing Managers Association and co-authored an article in the Package Engineering magazine on using “Value Analysis” to pinpoint packaging savings.

Neil’s passion was sports of all types, especially basketball. He played in various leagues and tournaments for 30 years, and after retiring took up senior softball.
