Ralph Edwin Papineau Sr.

He was born in Chicago Heights, IL on April 4, 1942. Ralph was preceded in death in February 2023 by his wife of 59 years, Linda Faye Papineau (Scott). They were married on December 23, 1963 in Raton, NM.

Ralph had a career in law enforcement for the US Army (Military Police and Criminal Investigation Division), with the Department of Defense Police (at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center), and Papineau Investigations. Later in life, he sold real estate with his wife, Linda, as the Papineau Team. Ralph was a member of the VFW- Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

Ralph had a passion for the Denver Broncos, golf, and his country, shown by his service in the US Army and DOD law enforcement of 40+ years and his love of flags and eagles.

He is survived by his sister: Barbara A. Powell, his three sons: Dale, Ralph Jr., and Joseph, his grandchildren: Zack, Kalena, Garrison, Christopher, Chase, Bryson, Shaun, and Kylie his great grandchildren: Olive, Arlo, Morelle, and Reese

A visitation will be held at Surprise Funeral Care, located at 16063 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374, on January 2, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A committal service will take place at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located at 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm on January 2, 2026.
