Ralph Henry Rydland, 84, of Surprise, Arizona passed away unexpectedly, on March 2, 2020. Born in Franklin, MN to Rev. Henry and Esther Rydland, moved to Minneapolis in the 40’s. Ralph graduated from St. Louis Park High School and St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, for two years during peace time. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Arne, sisters; Leora, Ruth, Sylvia and Valborg. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years Marilyn, whom he married on his birthday December 7. After over thirty years of working for Kraft Foods, he retired at the age of 55. Loving the southwest climate, they moved to Surprise, Arizona in 2000. He had requested no services.
