Karen and Family, I am shocked to hear of Rowdy's passing. He was a truly awesome person. I remember entering real estate and learning a tremendous amount from him. I enjoyed giving him a hard time on the sales floor. I will always remember him.

Karen - I was very shocked to hear of Rowdy's passing.  As my Broker for 3 years Rowdy was always an inspiration.  He was cheerful, professional and a gentleman in the true sense of the word - a Gentle Man.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.  Rowdy, may you rest in peace.

Its been a long time since I have seen Rowdy and I was shocked to hear of his passing.  I go back to l-o-n-g ago when Rowdy drove the transfer truck for Goldwater's...and later in both of our lives we did business in real estate...him selling and I did the loans....he was always a gentleman and I will miss him...he will be missed

Kiddo ...is what he called me. Always dressed to the nines and professional. But when he referred to me as "kiddo" , he was my big brother. As a desperate single adult, he supported me by taking me to various functions to meet a nice, rich man. Octoberfest was one I remember well. Yeah, no luck there. The smell of kraut and kielbasa on a man was a big turn off. Other ways of supporting me in my life was listening, telling me to look people in the eyes when I talk, and always laughing and staying positive. I hope that somehow I can speak with the confidence you had and live to make someone else's life better. Love you, Rowdy Dawson,.you will always be my big brother.

Rowdy's thoughtfulness and fun spirit will be missed very much!

Karen, I am so sorry to hear about Rowdy's passing. You may remember, Rowdy was my broker before working at WeMAR.  I remember that he loved baseball and I can tell you that we all enjoyed his intelligent wit at the WeMARkable Speakers meetings. He will be missed.

I didn't know Rowdy to well as I've only been a member of the Surprise Chamber of Commerce for 1 year. But I've seen Rowdy in action as a good caring team player that was always trying to get people involved. He had a wonderful sense of humor and made people laugh! I got to meet his wife Karen at the Dillons at the zoo chamber mixer a couple month's ago...Karen, you are in my thoughts and prayers......

Karen, I am glad to say that rowdy was a good brother to me.  I will miss seeing him in the fall when I go to Arizona. I will always remember the firey, spirited boy that he was.

Please accept my condolences. I first met Rowdy when both of us served on the Senior Work Day committee with WeMAR. He always cared about all the seniors who could not afford to take care of their homes. I always enjoyed talking with him at WeMAR events and he will definitely be missed by all of his colleagues.

Rowdy was one of the first people I met when joining the Surprise Regional Chamber.  Always a smile and jovial attitude; I am grateful to have met him.  He will be missed.  Thoughts & prayers to his beloved family.

I have had the great pleasure to know and work with Rowdy for 4 years.  He was always thinking of others, and trying to make their lives better.  He was a great veteran's advocate and I am a better person for knowing him.  This is a huge loss to everyone in the northwest valley.

I had only been in the Chamber for a short time but Rowdy was the one person that always went the extra mile to make sure I was included and welcomed. Thank you Rowdy for all your support and friendship.

Dear Karen,

It was indeed a surprise when August Heiss and Stephanie Angels were talking about a dear friend who was at the hospital last Saturday. Then late Sunday, they were talking about him going to hospice. When I asked who it was, they told me it was Rowdy and I was shocked.

I immediately thought about the days that we  worked together and those memories will continue to be in my mind as I get reminded that life is indeed precious. We have to treasure the time that we have here on earth prior to meeting our maker. 

Please accept my deepest sympathy and God be with you and your loved ones as this difficult time.

My deepest and sincere condolences go out to Karen and the family. Rowdy was always a cheerful man with a story to tell. Rowdy will be missed.

Rowdy was the first Surprise Chamber member I met at the Far West Valley Networking Group at Sam's club.  He was warm, welcoming, professional and very genuine.  I joined the Chamber that day.  You couldn't be shy around Rowdy.  He usually had a microphone in his hand which ended up in your face with Rowdy asking" Who are you and what do you do?".  He was the networking king.  Thanks for the memories Rowdy.  What a class act you were.  Gone but NEVER FORGOTTEN.  Happy journey good buddy.

Karen, we cannot attend on July 3rd as we have prior committments.  Know we are here to help in anyway.  Please let us know.

I didn't know Rowdy very well, but we met when I was in real estate school about 10 years ago. I would see him periodically at meetings and such, and he always remembered me, and was very friendly and professional. I'm sorry to see him leave us.
