Ada Mae Brown, Mom, Ada, Mor-Mor was the fourth child of six born to Gudmund and Marie Vekved in Sexsmith Alberta September 28 1939 and passed away June 3 2023 at Westminster House, South Surrey, B.C.
Ada was predeceased by son Kurtis of Surrey, BC, January 2021. Husband for 34 years Al, of Surrey, BC, September 2013, brother Glen of Westlock, Alberta 2020, sister Eleanor of Devon, Alberta 2012, and brother Jim of La Glace, Alberta 1966.
Ada is survived by sister Carol of Surrey, BC; brother Ingvald and wife Marilyn of Grande Prairie, Alberta; son Allan and wife Caroline of Surrey, BC; and daughter Siri, husband Gord and grandson Finn of Edmonton, Alberta, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please give to the BC Cancer Foundation or Alzheimer Society of British Columbia.
