LANGE, Alfred Emil. Passed away peacefully on May 7, 2011 at the age of 92. Born in Ridgeville, Manitoba on December 22, 1918. Al proudly served his country in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II and spent the rest of his military career in the Royal Canadian Air Force (1951 – 1969). He will be deeply missed by his loving wife and best friend of 68 years, Erma (nee Gerhardt); sons Gordon (Connie) and Jim; daughter Audrey (Bill) and grandchildren Kristine and Michael; Jamie and Jennifer; Faye and Scott. A special thank you is extended to the doctors and caring support staff at Peace Arch Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831-28 Ave, Surrey, BC on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11:00 am.
