Audrey Agnes Kilpatrick

Our precious Mom was born on November 4, 1929 and passed peacefully into eternity on January 16, 2025 after a brief illness. For 95 years Mom lived a full, rich, healthy life. This past month, despite its challenges, has been a precious end-of-life journey with her. We’re so thankful that we could rally around to support Mom in her final days - she was never alone. Mom was a joy and a light-bringer to everyone she knew or met … unfailingly kind, welcoming, and wise. She loved in the truest meaning of the word, and therefore everyone adored her. Mom is survived by her sister Christina, her 2 daughters Judy Paras (Sam) and Kathy Preece (Meiric), her grandchildren Andrea, Jenn (Jim), and David (Brittany), her 7 great-grandchildren (Altaira, Sammi, Chloe, Koal, Hayden, Lily, Dharma) and 3 great-great-grandchildren (Amara, Wilfred, Richard). She’ll be greatly missed by all of us plus many friends from decades past, from her church, and from her residence in Amica White Rock, where she was loved by staff and residents alike. We want to thank the wonderful medical staff at Peace Arch Hospital for their compassionate and skillful care for Mom in her final days - especially those in Emergency and on the 6th Floor Medical/Hospice ward. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in her memory to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, a charity that was dear to Mom’s heart. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 25 at 2 p.m. at Berea Baptist Church, 6062-132 Street, Surrey, BC. Tea reception to follow.
