Bernice was born in Provost Alberta . She shared many stories of growing up and the good times and hardships of prairie life . She came to BC some time in her early twenties. She met and married Frank Bartok in 1940.she had two sons John and Richard . Bernice was a talented China painter had a green thumb to grow vegetables .Herb favorite flowers were sweet peas and gladiolus. She lived in North Vancouver for years where she worked at Safeway .In later years she moved to Surrey .The last three years she was in Delta view Seniors care. Bernice pasted away peacefully on April 24th a short 10 days before. Her 98 birthday .She leaves behind her son's John and his family Richard and his family . Grandchildren and great grandchildren & great great grandchildren.no service by request no flowers by request make a donation to the dementia society or Charity of your choice .Or plant a flower in her memory. Thank you to Delta view for all there care of Bernice we appreciate it so much a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Tho we may be heart broken the heavens must be rejoicing because they got an angel back on that day
