My great grandma Joan was the bestest loving kindest great grandma I ever had. This was back when we had a Christmas dinner. (Im the one in the red dress the black one is my oldest sister Keely girl with long hair my little sister Mackenzie and boy my little brother Kayden and my mom Michelle) all of us loved her so much and she meant everything to us. We miss and love her along with our great grandpa. Goodbye great grandma. I love and miss you and all of my family from my moms side does.

I volunteered at the Senior Centre along with Joan for many years.  Joan and Stan were staunch supporters of the Sechelt Senior Activity  Centre Society.  Joan always had a smiling face and welcomed the opportunity to assist anyone with a question.  She was greatly missed when she retired from volunteering at the Centre.  My sympathy goes out to the family for your loss.  Wilma Lorimer

Joan & Stan were wonderful next-door neighbours of ours in Halfmoon Bay for many years.  Joan was the most tender, loveable and kind person, and as has been said, she loved Christmas time.  We had just completed the construction of our dream retirement home, so I asked Joan where I could buy a special Christmas wreath for our front door.   Two days later, the door bell rang, and Joan was at the door with the most beautiful Christmas wreath.   Where did you buy it, and how much do I owe you??  I made it, and it is my gift to you and your wife for Christmas!!  Dear Joan, rest in peace.  You are sincerely loved and will be missed.  Len Pakulak 

Always remember living next door on Shell road East  Bev, Wayne,Gord,Pat we we’re always going back and forth with supplies  for our moms as there was no store close by.  We also had a telephone party line

John, Donna and Douglas Phillips are extending sympathy to the family of Joan Fleetham.  We have many memories we shared with Stan and Joan.  They  were fun, energetic and interesting.  Joan's enthusiasm for Christmas was contagious.  Rest in peace Joan.

Always sad for the life of such an incredible woman to end even if I imagine it was your time. I’ve always had so much respect for you Grandma. Hopefully your spirit is now mingling with Betty White’s. Xoxo Jo.

To the Fleetham Family,
I have nothing but the fondest memories of Joan! I remember hanging out at Shell Road with Matthew 50 years ago and how Joan made me a part of her family from then on. She was always sharing her wisdom and terrific sense of humour whenever I was around. I remember catching up with Joan when she worked with Joyce in the flower shop. Joan and Stan were also very supportive of my real estate career, and hired me to sell their Marpole condo and Joyce's condo in Kitsilano. I visited Joan after she moved to Sechelt and she was as welcoming and charming as ever. A wonderful lady, now at peace. My sincere condolences,

We were neighbors of the Fleethams's in Richmond.  Oh, the trouble we got into back in the day!  We were out the door in the morning and parent's didn't see us till dinner.  I remember Mr & Mrs Fleetham would go for walks hand in hand.  We would visit the floral displays at the PNE because Mrs Fleetham made one.  Occasionally  sent over an egg or some such when needed.  Danced with Patty in the living room to the big stereo cabinet with Mrs Fleetham clapping.  Years later I met up with her in Woodwards.  She couldn't believe that I recognized her.  You never forget those that make an impression on your life.  Sending condolences to the family.  Rest in peace.
