Catherine Maribette Palmer

Catherine “Cathy” Palmer, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 14th, 2025. She was 75 years old.

Born with a generous heart and a joyful spirit, Cathy shared 51 wonderful years of marriage with her husband and best friend, Steve Palmer. Together, they built a life filled with devotion, laughter, and deep companionship. Their happiest days were spent side by side — whether at home, exploring new places on their many vacations, or simply enjoying the quiet comfort of each other’s company.

Cathy was a loving and dedicated mother to her two children, Dan Palmer and Deb (Alex) Upshall, who were the pride of her life. She cherished her three grandchildren — Quentin, Oscar, and William — and nothing brought her more joy than watching them grow, celebrating their accomplishments, and sharing in their adventures. Her family was truly her world.

Known for her kindness, warmth, and gentle humor, Cathy had a way of making everyone around her feel cared for and welcomed. She had a special gift for bringing people together, creating a home filled with love, comfort, and laughter. Her presence was steady and reassuring, and her loss will be felt deeply by all who knew her.

Cathy leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion. She will be remembered every day — in the stories shared, in the lessons she taught, and in the hearts of those who loved her so dearly.

She will be profoundly missed.
