Our courageous Mom passed away peacefully on May 8th at the age of 72. She was the proud mom of two daughters Jennifer (Kerry) and Leah (Vaughan) and the best Gramee to Dylan, Marek, Leo, Axel and Sacha. She is survived by her two brothers, Howard (Sylvia) and Greig (Sheila), two nephews Keith and Kevin and countless friends.
Even through the trials and tribulations that go along with cancer, she lived a life filled with joy and adventure. She enjoyed golfing, lawn bowling, five-pin bowling, and mahjong. She made family a priority, visiting them often, celebrating us and was a great and beloved Gramee to her grandchildren.
Our mom had a passion for travelling, and along with her best friend Judy, she visited many places around the world. She was often heard saying, “Been there!” when different locations were shown on tv.
Her positive attitude in life and her determination to live it fully despite her diagnoses was, and is, an inspiration to many of us. She was a bright light that will be sorely missed.
We will never forget her beautiful smile.
