Connie (Constance) Alice McGregor, 86, of Surrey, British Columbia, passed away at the Peace Arch Hospital Hospice, on June 9, 2013, with her loving family at her side. Connie was born in West Ham, England, and grew up in Lloydminster, Alberta. She married and raised her family in North Burnaby, B.C.. She is survived by two older sisters, Evelyn Cooke of Ontario, and Vera Stevenson of Alberta, and her four children, Wayne Roberts and his wife Shelagh, Steven Roberts, his wife Supa, and son Shawn, Kathy Hori, her husband Hiromi, and their children Kiyomi and Jeffrey, Laurie Nicol, her husband Ian, and their children Duncan and Meghan.
Connie will also be lovingly remembered by her many friends at the Pacific Carlton, Mann Park Lawn Bowling, her 5 pin bowling team, the White Rock Lioness Club, and many others.
At Connie’s request a private memorial service, for the family will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Victory Memorial Funeral Park. Pastor David Jamieson of Aldergrove Seventh Day Adventist Church will be officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Peace Arch Hospice for their dedication and support.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
