Dear Dan,
Where ever you are I'm sure you are looking down at me.
I have this address book with just a few names on it and today I just saw it again and decided to call. Unfortunately a recorded message said the number is not in service anymore. I google Dan Hatcher and the address and this is what I saw. I'm sorry my friend that I did not kept in touch more often. But I will be thinking about you and all the good memories we shared working at BC Place Stadium. 
I will always remember you my friend.

 i just received the sad news of you leaving us for a better world. you will be missed, but hope you meet and dine with many members of the royal family up there...hugs, jeff

I would have loved to attend the celebration of life for this wonderful man that I was privileged enough to call "friend", unfortunately we were away in Mexico.  I hope his family and other friends are consoled in their grief that they were all lucky enough to have this kind soul in their lives.

I have known Dan since 1973 when we met at Johnston Heights.  He has always been a gentle soul with the wonderful smile who always had time to chat and was genuinely interested in what you had to say.  We are all very saddened at the sudden news.  RIP our old friend.  We hope your collection will find a great home.

Dear Dan, you'll be greatly missed.  I'll always remember you in my heart as a kind soul, gatherer of friends and family as people were important to you, and your great smile.

Danny, I remember so many funny things that you did to Judy and I when I would stay over on the weekend.  You were a little prankster, but such a lovable cousin, who could stay mad at you.  You are dearly loved and deeply missed by me and all your family and friends.  Rest peacefully, my gentle giant....I love you now and always.

I remember Danny when he would sit around his home with his parents and all his royal family books he did love them. I remember your smile. We will miss you. rest in peace. you where one of the greatest people I knew.

I have known Dan for 40 years and am very saddened by his sudden passing.  He was a true friend all those years, never ever missing a birthday call.  Although we didn't see each other very often we had each other in our hearts and I am so grateful for his devoted friendship.  Dan was one of a kind, he touched many people's hearts in his 56 years and I will miss him dearly.  Love you, Dan. Rest in peace for you were loved by many.

Dan, starting back as teenagers time fly's in our ups and down of life. We will miss your gentle soul, our phone conversations, your birthday wishes, our lunch dates, sharing your excitement of yet another rare eday fine on your royal hunt,  your care, love and encouragement as we journeyed in building our family, we will miss your new year's dinners, life on the roof, we will miss your smile & your laughter.
