I remember Eileen and her daughter Christine from back in the 70's when her and my Mom (who recently passed) and my Dad were in the same neighborhood and became good friends.  For some reason a memory of her was thinking those fluffy white persians in the the toilet paper commercials were so cute.  Odd memory but it was what stood out.  Remember bumping into her years later at IGA and in recent years reconneting with her daughter.  Saw a pic of her as Santa's elf a month ago so alive.  My heart goes out to Christine and everyone who loved her.

I for one will really miss you Eileen!  You were such a little fireball, always running circles around everyone else.   You loved people!  Always had a kind word to say to the elderly, and you loved the little kids we would see at work.  You loved to tell jokes, and we had a few good laughs over the years!!  Can't believe we were friends for 49 years!!  Rest in peace, and this time get some rest, free of health issues!!!!!!!  I will never forget you. I worked for many years with Eileen in many stores and most recent IGA #85.  She was always a firecracker and always had a joke to tell you!  The one thing I remember about Eileen was when my girls were small they came to the store we were working at to visit me and Eileen turned their sweaters inside out and tied their arms together and they laughed and laughed!she always made us laugh! I remember meeting Eileen when she worked in the same stores as my wife did my first impression of her the first time I met her was for a person who is quite petite she is a firecracker and I remember her mentioning she wanted to paint a wall in her apartment to be gorillas in a rainforest I would have like to see it

Christine, you mom was amazing. If it wasn't starting marshmallow fights it was laughing together in her kitchen, seeing her amazing artwork. I have always been in awe of your relationship together. I will think of her whenever I make kaluha dip. She was a loving, hilarous, giving person with a heart as huge as the mountains. My heart is with you.

I am so sorry for your lost your mother was a great lady and we all loved her dearly.She is now with all those great firefighters in the sky.

I only met Eileen once, but she made a lasting impression. She greeted me with a huge hug and a warm smile. Brian has told me many happy childhood stories about marshmallow fights and soaping fountains with Aunt Eileen.
