The family of Emily Liang is saddened to announce her passing on April 26, 2025 at the age of 41 years. Following a brave battle against cancer, she passed away surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Emily is predeceased by her father George and survived by her mother Jenny, brother Joseph (Anita), and one nephew. She will be lovingly remembered by her many great friends.
Emily was born in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to Canada with her family at the age of 16. She has called Richmond her home ever since. Growing up, Emily has always shown an exceptional talent in various arts. In her adult life, Emily has been an avid restauranteur.
At work, she managed to transmit much of her artistic creativity into her cooking and desserts. But more than her food, it was her kind and loving soul that has lingered in the minds of everyone who acquainted her. She was caring, selfless, and always willing to help at a minute’s notice.
Emily might have left us, but she lives on in the memory of all of us.
