With profound sadness we announce the passing of our mother Germaine Lavallee on Friday, November 18, 2016. She suffered in a painful battle with cancer. During this time she continued to keep her sense of humor which shone through the pain she endured. Her spunky personality, strong character and zest for life inspired her family as well as the caring and comforting staff at RCH. Our mom was a valued 50 year employee with Royal Bank. Social activities included bowling and luncheon groups, as well as many happy years spent at the Mount Baker family cabin where she would dance the night away at the Chandelier. Survived by daughter; Yvette (Peter), sons; Mark(Gail), Paul, Robert “ sadly passed”(Jane), Michael(Bonnie), Patrick, as well as grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Pre-deceased by husband; Marcel and long time companion, George. No funeral by request. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA.
