June 4, 1942 – April 14, 2013
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family after a brief battle with brain cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Doris; his 2 children Stephan (Heidi) and Heidi (Darryl); 4 grandchildren Daniella, Marcus, Charlotte, and Cooper; his mother Anni; brother Jerry (Lilli) and sister Monica (Gary); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. Hans had a strong Christian faith and a zest for life that he shared openly with everyone he met. He lived life to the fullest through music, travel, golf, skiing, fishing, and was an inspiration to family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Peace Portal Alliance Church, 15128 27B Ave., Surrey, B.C. at 2:00 pm preceded by a private family burial. Special thanks to Dr. R.
