Hernando "Nandz" passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 23, 2015 at the age of 67 years. Hernando was born in the Philippines, lived in Brussels, Belgium, Ontario and White Rock, British Columbia. Married his wife Magdalena on December 8, 1971 and spent 43 wonderful years together. He is survived by his wife and their children; Herdel, Enite (Vina) , Rizabel and grandchildren; Hernando III, Dylan, Julian, Evin, Axel as well as his sister Isabel Murray and brother Crisanto Gonzales. He earned his degree as a Marine Engineer from the Philippine Maritime Institute College. Survived a workplace head injury in 2003 and cancer in 2014. He loved to garden with the grandchildren. He brought laughter and joy to everyone he knew but especially to his grandchildren, his greatest treasure.
A Visitation will be held on March 30 @ 7pm to 9pm and a Celebration of Life Service will be on March 31, 2015 @ 1pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831-28th Avenue, Surrey, B.C.
