James "Doug" Douglas Peters

James Douglas Peters

July 11, 1952 - February 24, 2026

Doug was predeceased by his parents Jim and Marg Peters. He is survived by: his Sister Gail, brother-in-law Sean; Nieces Tracy and Jennifer (Tyler); great nieces Makenna, Hayden and Kayleigh and great nephews Carson and Dylan.

Doug will also be remembered by his work family at Astro Graphics where he was employed for 40 plus years. Thanks to the staff at Astro Graphics for keeping him young and active.

In keeping with Doug's quiet nature, a small private burial will be held for family members.

Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow.

Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles, I’ve only gone to rest a little while.

Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt, and given me relief.

So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now, but as I used to be.

Because, I will remember you all, and look on with a smile. Understand in your hearts, I’ve only gone to rest a little while.

As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.
