It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Louis (Bud) Banzet.
Born on June 25 1924, in Didsbury Alberta and passed, on May 20 2023, in White Rock, British Columbia. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Helen (née Safinuk); 3 children: Doug (Adrienne), Bob (Kelly) and Karen (Romano); 4 grandchildren: Marc (Emily), Danny, Nick (Liana) and Angela; 3 great grandchildren: Beatrice, Lillian and Ben.
Bud retired from Canada Customs in 1981 has and enjoyed a long and healthy retirement. He served in WWII with the Royal Canadian Navy, primarily aboard HMCS Orkney.
He is fondly remembered as a generous, kind man, with a great sense of humor.
He will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed.
