Odette leaves behind her loving husband, Bryn Pepper who was her “rock” throughout her illness. She will be forever missed by her pride and joy – four beautiful children, Samantha “Sam” Treleaven (Chad); AJ Harris (Lucas); Megan Harris and Callum Pepper. Thanks to Sam and Chad, Odette fulfilled her dream of becoming a grandmother, “Nodie” to Michael “Boogie”, Isabella “Izzy” and Francesca “Frankie”.
She also leaves behind her loving parents, Margaret Williams and step father, David Williams “Dad”; having been predeceased by her father Jose Fernandez.
Her siblings Margaret Ana Fernandez, Jennie Fernandez (Arturo) and Frank Carlos Fernandez remember their little sister with much affection and love. Odette was the family’s Centennial project back in 1967 when the Canadian government encouraged families to create a special project to celebrate the year.
Also left to mourn are her nieces and nephews; Charles, Katryna, Natasja, Andrea, Michael, and Claire.
Odette was a spark to all who knew her and she loved her job as a UPS courier. Her many regular customers were the biggest part of the joy she found in her job.
Odette accomplished much in her life. She participated in several Ride to Conquer Cancer events raising thousands of dollars. She loved trucks so much that she even managed to pass her Class 1 driver’s test for commercial vehicles. And recently got her motorcycle license. Some of Odette’s other passions include gardening, tattoos, Cross-Stitch but most of all she was a true animal lover owning a number of companions over the years.
Although family and friends will deeply miss Odette’s passionate and joyful personality, we are grateful for her beautiful and fulfilled life.
