Ballard, Phyllis Joyce passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 6, 2013 with family at her side. Phyllis recently celebrated her 90th birthday with family and friends. She was known as a loving homemaker, mother of four sons, Ken (Ruth), Ron (Gina), Howard, Douglas (Nancy) and daughter-in-law Marilyn. Phyllis was an affectionate and devoted Grandma to 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was happily married to Alfred Ballard (died 2003) for over 58 years.
A Memorial Service will be held at Heather Bible Chapel (777 W 68th Avenue, Vancouver) on July 13 at 2:00 pm. Donations can be made to the Union Gospel Mission.
